THE FLEA MARKET IN NOVEMBER
The live swap at Helena High on November 6th was fun, due in part to the very nice weather. One seller testimonial came from the first seller to arrive at the swap, a man not associated with the SkiTeam. He said: "I sold everything in two hours, which included: 3 pairs of poles, 4 pairs of alpine skis and bindings, 1 pair of nordic skis and bindings, 2 pairs of boots, and 1 pair of pants." His cost? A $5 sellers entry fee donation! (What a savings from previous swaps that charged 30% of the sales proceeds.) He said to use his name and telephone number in case anyone wants a report on the live swap: Mike Crowell @ 449-3849. Next year, we'd like to expand the live flea market to be: "All Sports Fall Flea Market" probably sometime in Late September/Early October. We'd like to work with other nonprofit sports clubs on this, if you know of any. I'd like to thank the volunteer Ski Team parents and kids who helped put on the swap. They are the greatest!
